Tai Lin
Tai Lin

MANAGING PARTNER

Tai has over 20 years of private equity and investment banking experience. Prior to Proterra, he served as a Managing Director for Cargill’s fund management subsidiary Black River Asset Management, where he focused on food sector investments across Asia. Tai has spent over a decade building out Proterra’s Asia platform to support entrepreneurs and management teams across the Asian food sector.

Koh-Peng Chua
Koh-Peng Chua

MANAGING DIRECTOR & ASIA GENERAL COUNSEL

Koh-Peng has over 19 years of experience in cross border M&A, private equity investments, equity offerings, derivatives, distressed credits and securities regulations. Prior to Proterra, Koh-Peng served as a Managing Director and Senior Legal Counsel for Cargill’s fund management subsidiary Black River Asset Management, where he provided legal and compliance support across various funds.

Ziting (Tina) Wang
Ziting (Tina) Wang

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Tina has over 12 years of experience in private equity and M&A, and 4 years of audit experience. Tina focuses on Proterra Asia’s investment activities across Greater China. Prior to Proterra, she served as a Director for SunEdison, once the largest global renewable energy company listed on the NYSE, where she headed the M&A and Project Finance functions in China.

Qingyun Tian
Qingyun Tian

SENIOR DIRECTOR

Qingyun has over 15 years of experience in private equity and management consulting. She previously served as Principal at the Boston Consulting Group (Greater China), where she provided deal cycle consulting services to private equity funds.

Tom Pugh
Tom Pugh

Director

Tom has over 15 years of private equity, corporate finance, and audit experience, over 10 of these in Asia. Prior to joining Proterra he served as Managing Director of Cassia Investments, a consumer sector focused private equity fund targeting Southeast Asia and China. Tom has also worked at First Eastern Investment Group in Hong Kong and RSM in London. Tom is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales.

William So
William So

DIRECTOR

William has over 12 years of experience in private equity and M&A transactions, and focuses on investments in consumer food and food production in China. He joins from Black River Asset Management and was with KPMG Transaction Services performing financial due diligence for private equity or multinational corporations investing in China prior to that.
